INTRODUCTION
I review this fantastic TV that just last night at a friend’s house, I used to watch the derby match Milan – Inter HD. I was really impressed by the potential of this TV, the audio and video quality, design, high definition.
DESIGN
Data provided notice right away that this is a 42 inch screen with a huge high resolution: Full HD 120hz well.
The design is modern, Gloss black and in my opinion very elegant. Not at all heavy, although it is very wide and 65cm high on about, it is also very subtle: 3.5 x 40.8 x 25.8 inches.
FUNCTIONS
This LG HD (alone understand what that means), thanks to three HDMI ports that allow us to connect decoder or other devices that support this technology.
The viewing angle, for the uninitiated, is crucial in so-called “flat TVs, LG is well in this 178 degrees both vertically and horizontally, then we put ourselves in any position to see, we have a fantastic image. 16:9 is a basic, but you can of course also have the standard format, manual transmission.
Presents a function that allows us to easily maneuver the television and any Dolby Surround. Another function that are frequently on television in recent times is called Picture in Picture: allows us to view simultaneously in the same window, multiple channels.
Another feature that is always the greater the presence of digital terrestrial tuner. However simple tune without digital channels, as the research itself, and coordination are automatic.
Inevitable basic functions such as teletext or Sleep timer (function essential for me in the evening when I watch TV in bed ).
CONCLUSION
The price is around $900, but we are talking about a TV that will make us forget the Theater if also associated with a good surround sound system. Every night I always watch a football game and seemed to sit in the stands, was enough to exclude the audio commentary and go directly to that field (with Sky) seem to be on the sidelines.
For those who can afford it and take off a whim, I highly recommend this LG-42LH40.
