Toshiba 32TL515U Review
Toshiba 32TL515U 32-Inch Natural 3D 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV with Net TV
Review By “J.McKay”
I’ve been looking for 32 inch 3D HDTV, read reviews on the net, looked sample, compared features and prices. I had very specific ideas what features should be available at 650 dollars. Then I found Toshiba 32TL515U meet my requirement perfectly!
I have the unit in operation since about 3 weeks and I am quite happy so far.
First impression:
The TV has a nice, simple design. The frame is small and unobtrusive, the stand works through the glass plate very noble. Generally affects the device very well made and sturdy.
Assembly:
The mounting on the stand is very easy and requires only a few screws.
Remote Control:
Clearly designed, clear and beautiful. However, something big and bulky. Response time is very good.
Setting up the TV:
The first set is simple thanks to auto-start setup and does not require greater technical understanding or a user manual. Within 5 minutes the TV was ready for use. I currently use the built-S2 tuner, offers the perfect reception.
Only at the sorting station, I have some problems. The displacement of the individual programs to the desired position, was somewhat more complex.
Picture Quality:
Probably the most important thing about a TV. I must say I was very surprised. The picture is crystal clear, sharp and contrasty. Black is black and the colors are rich and saturated. There are also preset color modes, which are very useful, for example, if you look very dark films. This can be easily and naturally by simply switch on the remote control.
In addition to the SD quality varies, depending on the source, from mediocre to very good. Also, since I can not complain.
3D:
The 3D feature is great. Quite clear disadvantage of course is that you buy the glasses separately and that these are not favorable. However it seems to be worthwhile (if you want to invest in 3D Blurays).
The 3D experience is great, the razor-sharp images, the 3D effect and clearly no shocks or duplicate images.
Games:
I’ve tried RPGs, sports and racing games and I am very satisfied. In the “Game” mode, I can not find input lag or ghosting.
Sound:
More than you might expect. For normal TV but without any loss due to the small speaker. Even with DVDs they did sound good. Anyone planning to invest in 3D glasses to enjoy the full cinematic experience, but should fall back on a Dolby surround system. This definitely supports the grandiose image.
Internet:
Establish the Internet connection is required depending on your internet connection quite a bit of technical understanding. Once built, it is very stable, but is ultimately just a gimmick.
Conclusion:
So far, everything super surprising. I am very satisfied and can only recommend the purchase.
