Few months ago I bought this Sony model for my living room.
The indecision was great, I did several searches on-line and compared the opinions of friends who have different brands, in the end I decided to opt for a Sony, a brand that I feel an assurance of quality with regard to TV.
The Sony KDL-55NX720 struck me first to the elegant frame less design. A slim structure. An elegant screen by the monolithic design that ensures a great touch of elegance without making the frame and glass with a highly reflective (Gorilla® Glass panel) that allows you to highlight images with high contrast and detail and with intense black levels by reducing and minimizing reflections in bright environments.
The picture quality of this Sony is fantastic!. It has a LED backlight that makes the colors brighter and whites / blacks more intense thanks to the OptiContrast Panel. In addition, this backlight technology has a light sensor that adjusts the picture based on ambient light conditions, so as to reduce consumption and energy bills.
As for the technical display is Full HD 1080 (1920 x 1080 pixels) in 16:9 format with a Motionflow 240Hz with this technology ensures High Definition detail and smooth images and sharp in the rapids fast sequences, such as for example when watching sports events or action movies. In addition, the X-Reality Engine allows you to view pictures with an incredible number of details, an optimal contrast and color tone close to reality.
Needless to say, to take maximum advantage of these features need to see channels or programs in HD or Blu-ray movies. So that you can make the most wonderful sharpness and resolution.

As for the audio has a digital amplifier, a S-Force Front Surround 3D with a total output power of 20W. It is difficult to find a TV with a grand Surround.
