After much back and forth and compare it to other TVs I’ve finally decided to the 40PFL4706/F7. With the screen size, built-in speakers and LED technology, this TV is perfect for people who want to watch FullHD movies, listening to the radio or play on a console.

Design: In total, the unit is high quality and satisfactory. The looks are a matter of taste, I like it very well.

Start-up:
Super fast, take a look at the manual is not necessary. From unpacking to installation on base at the time of complete functional capacity took less than 40 minutes. And it went on it about 20 minutes for the automatic station search.

Menu:
The menu structure is clear, easily understood and visually appealing design.

Picture:
The quality of the television picture is beyond all doubt. The free HD channels are displayed great and amazed speechlessness when playing Blu-ray discs via HDMI connected Philips BD player is so good that almost a 3D effect is created. Games on game consoles with HDMI output are very realistic. The colors are perfect and the picture adjustments are easy to change and very enjoyable for beginners to perform.

Sound:
A few words on the sound. The excellent reproduced sound through the TV speakers is remarkable and surprisingly good.

Remote Control:
It is very ergonomic and well in the hand and all functions can be controlled quickly and intuitively. Similarly NetTV is thus very easy to operate. Very pleasant is the small size and round shape of the remote control. The control of the Philips BD player over HDMI EasyLink convinced likewise.

Hard drive, WiFi and streaming:
operate smoothly. The 40PFL4706/F7 goes splendidly with a NAS hard disk content can be streamed. A connected directly via USB 2TB Hard disk was immediately recognized and played well.

Control via Android Tablet:
Content can comfortably across different apps (including Philips) are streamed directly via WiFi. Also controlling the basic functions of mobile phone and Android Tablet works fine.
