Toshiba 40UX600U Review
Toshiba 40UX600U LED HDTV 120 Hz with Net TV [Black Gloss]
40UX600U Review By “D@sign”
After longing and intensive search for a new TV, I’ve chosen the Toshiba 40UX600U. And I was not insecure in front of the relatively large acquisition of this equipment.
I have compared in several markets, have compared the prices with those on the internet, and… I know how hard to chose the right device.
For me was important:
- Under 1000 dollars
- Low power consumption
- At least 40″
- 120Hz
- FullHD, 1080p, 24p
- Good picture on SD material
I ordered the television on Wednesday, Then Thursday he was delivered by DHL. Super service.
The assembly will proceed rapidly and immediately noticed that everything is super processed. What bothers me a bit is the piano black finish, because dust etc. seen immediately. I’ve Got hurried along with an anti-static cloth and spray and now it’s a little better.
Operation is intuitive and everyone immediately knows where to set something. To get a good picture, I need it but hardly a setting because the picture looks in the standard already great.
Picture:
HD satellite receiver (with HDMI):
both on HD channels and with only digital satellite channels showing the Toshiba an excellent picture.
BD player (with HDMI):
I have never seen BluRays and normal DVD’s in such quality. The picture are sharp and the black level is the way I’ve dreamed of this.
Wii (via component cable):
A completely new feel. The picture looks much cleaner and more detailed than on the old tube and it looks fantastic.
Sound:
The sound is like with most LCD TV not so awesome, just as lack of bass. However it is still OK. Have an active sub connected and now fits the image quality to the sound.
Conclusion:
Absolute low price LED TV with 120hz, internet access, 2 USB port and 4 HDMI. The picture is excellent and the sound is also OK for a LED TV.
