Philips 42 1080p HDTV Review
Philips 42PFL5704D/F7 Review by : “Michael.Je”
I am a happy owner of this product for about 2 months. Really pleased with my choice, I was particularly impressed watching SD signals (of course you must set it on top) and of course watching in HD, simply spectacular.
Among the features of this TV is there to underline the presence of the Ambilight function “Ambilight Spectra 2″ (these 2 beams of light from the back of the TV to be reflected on the wall), a characteristic that gives the movie watching but also sporting event a very special effect and engaging in short the Ambilight off when it feels really miss him.
This requires that the Ambilight TV (to really make the max) should be placed at a distance of 25cm from the wall or better still be hanging on the same (preferably white). Philips 42PFL5704D also has an excellent anti-reflective screen with a color processing in my opinion really excellent: 2250 trillion colors (RGB 17 bits).
I want to point out yet another feature that makes this TV fully from all points of view: multimedia.
In fact, the TV is equipped with automatic recognition on USB (sideways to the left of the TV), DLNA multimedia browser and many more services Net TV (Youtube etc..) With integrated WiFi.
I watch from a distance of 2.5 meters and repeat the vision Sd (digital terrestrial or satellite) is really quite good.
The vision of Bluray (its strength, along with viewing HD) is in my opinion really superb.
Excellent video games with input lag completely absent.
Does not suffer from any trail and does not even clouding phenomenal.
Some of these features:
- 200Hz = 100Hz + 100Hz backlight (can be adjusted and also turn off)
- Audio with 4 speakers (2 front + 2 rear subwoffer), the Audio the rest is one of the strengths that differentiates it from other LCD on the market.
Price : $1300 (APR 2010) Full details
