In early May, a staff of nearby electronic store asked me if I was interested in a 47″ 3D LED TV form LG to test. I did not have to think long and pledged directly. Previously I had always watched the CRT TV. Therefore, the opportunity came to me quite naturally.

After a few days then came the service delivery and brought me next to the TV even a home theater system in order to test the device to its fullest. I was going to free the unit from its cardboard prison, to take him into service.

The setup was easy and was also without having to read the instructions. After the TV had found his place in the living room, I just had to connect my other devices. The number of connections was more than sufficient to connect to Blu Ray Player, Xbox 360 and HD receiver. With the built-in tuner, the unit can even triple cable, satellite and DVB-T use the same screen.

As with any television, The transmitter can be found naturally with the automatic scan mode. However, works to move the channel in the channel list is not correct. After turning the device, the settings are unfortunately lost, and the channels are there again in the base sequence of the automatic tuning. Fast times seen in various internet forums and seen that this problem occurs in various LG appliances. The solution to my problem, it was adding channel manually and then store it on the correct channel position.

The first impression
The TV has a great design. The workmanship is very good and it looks classy. The picture makes the channel a very good impression, even with analog reception. In the digital TV viewing pleasure, better than analog. The image is sharp and the color reproduction is excellent. Thanks TruMotion 240Hz technology, the device is completely flicker-free. Due to the short response time is noticeable in action-packed movies no jerkiness. Thanks to the integrated sensor, the TV automatically adjusts to light conditions in the room.

The sound quality is very persuasive. Sure, the TV experience with the included home theater system is a lot better again, but the sound is in my opinion for the normal use more than sufficient. The unit has convinced me for now.

Special Features
The main feature of the LG device is certainly the view in 3D. With the included movie “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” and the included 3D glasses for the first time I could come to enjoy the 3D representation. The feature has me a little impressed. Here too, the picture makes a good impression and the usual 3D effect is good to see. So who is on the home 3D experience comes his money’s worth here.

Besides the representation of 3D movies you have the opportunity through the 2D -> 3D Converter can convert regular TV program in 3D. Here the representation of my opinion that is not quite as successful and convincing as real 3D movies. However, how can I find a very nice feature.

After extensive testing, I must just say that the LG 47LW6500 confident in all aspects. The picture is great and the best thing I’ve ever seen on a LCD / LED TV. Thanks to 3D technology, Smart Share Smart TV and the device is on the cutting edge of technology and you can be sure that you should be with this unit until times well prepared for the coming years. With this device you can not do anything wrong and is therefore a strong buy recommendation.
