LG 50PV450 Review
LG 50PV450 50-Inch 1080p 600 Hz Plasma TV
Review By “Catalyst”
So where do I begin…..
I have the LG 50PV450 Plasma TV for 4 days.
I personally appreciate the device for its low price. Because I run the television with a Playstation 3, I do not need internet capabilities, or similar features.
I found the installation pleasantly simple and easy: hung on the wall (VESA 400×400 M6), connected to the Cable, Bluray and PS3. Picture settings (contrast down a bit, color saturation, sharpness and color balance adjusted to personal taste) and you’re done.
What strikes me even more positive the design and layout of the menu, can be a good look! To the design of the Tv I need say nothing more, pictures say more than 1000 words! Also worth mentioning is that he realized the flat screen is just really, really flat! (I know there are slimmer design but still not in the price range!)
Then played a round of Dirt2: Sensational! Super picture, razor sharp (although Dirt2 “only” runs at 720p), no detectable motion blur or Phosphorlag. Then to test the Avatar Bluray edition – what shall I say: Again, viewed the entire film completely. It’s much of detail, sharpness and colors. At a viewing distance of about 2m, there was really nothing to criticize – not even on the black level.
Even the built-in speakers offer an excellent speech intelligibility and sufficient for “watching TV”, goes so well by itself.
Remote control and menu navigation are clear and do not offer too much options.
The TV also has a really great media player. He plays almost all formats, recognizes the flash drive or the hard disk immediately. The menu of the Media Player is very clear and easy to understand.
Conclusion: Simply Perfect! Razor-sharp picture.! Ps3 looks really well from class! Great television for a very good price! >> More Reviews <<
