LG Infinia 55LW5600 55-Inch Cinema 3D 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

After I had read many good tests of the LG 55LW5600… and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. The TV delivers in all respects, are important to me, very good performance.

The design is, as always, a matter of taste and I find is beautiful.

Device was packaged very well, Packaging had no damages or other. Big surprise was the accessories, there were 4 pairs of 3D glasses but unfortunately it was no HDMI cables or other accessories.

The integrated DVB-C receiver works very well. The HD picture are very clear and sharp and there are no complaints. Also, the digital image is TOP without compromise.

About Blu-Ray player really more than GIGANTIC. It is the most natural picture I’ve seen so far. I believe – beyond any doubt. The picture pleases me very well. Also 2D image of my DVD player (HDMI) is good.

3D on the LG is top notch. I’ve seen so far an IMAX documentary (Grand Canyon) and Resident Evil Afterlife. Especially the latter is absolutely outrageous – very nice 3D effect, no double vision, and (of course) no flickers with the polarizing filter technology. The depth effect is just great, you get the feeling you could go in the film, the pop-out effect is good. All in all, 3D effect – exceeded expectations!

The conversion feature 2D to 3D is not so awesome, but ultimately we must not expect, of course, that can keep up a function with native 3D material.

From the “classic” Edge LED Clouding problem I could see nothing, may be but I’m not so sensitive.

The colors are absolutely natural and the contrast is very good. The black level is more of a very dark gray, the Black level is definitely on a good level.

Also gaming with the PS3 works fine. I connected PS3 via HDMI input, via HDMI connection I can see no lag.

For sound, I can not say much because I had a 5.1 system. During normal television viewing, the sound is quite OK. >> More Reviews and Rating <<
