LC52LE700UN Review By “Zethy”
Hi, today I would like to present you a report from my 52 inch TV.
First of all: I have bought the Sharp LC52LE700UN on the internet now for about 14 days.
Fortunately, I was offered by Amazon the service free shipping to home, because the packaging is gigantic and weighs an estimated 68 pounds.
Who alone is not possible and also recommended in any case, as the good play could otherwise get damage. The packaging itself is very robust and equipped with plenty of Styrofoam. On TV a thick protective cover is pulled so that it can actually be transported, without prejudice to its location.
Setup / Installation:
The Getting Started guide explains everything is easy. If someone intends a more complex wiring, with many devices, the subject must indeed look at the right instructions, but even with this you’ll quickly find what you seek. The installation of the TV itself is almost entirely automatic, just date, language only must be entered using the remote control. Even for the amateur electronics no problem!
The channel scan is also fully automatic.
Operation:
The menu is divided very user friendly, with small icons and the categories are well placed. Positive: At the bottom bar is always a description of the currently selected function. The operation is very simple.
USB: Especially interesting to me that you can connect via either USB MP3 player or camera to look at photos or listening to music. The USB port on the side of the TV’s is quick to recognize. Connecting external hard drive with photos is here, for example (not tested with a 2.5 inch hard drive with 500GB and 1TB of Toshiba 3.5-inch hard drive from Seagate)
Picture (quality):
I sit in front of the screen I see the resolution of 1920×1080 (Full HD) no dead pixels. From the sofa (3-4 meters), the quality is so excellent that I could ensure smooth awarded 10 points if that would be. The brightness of the TV’s can be adjusted very well either manually. You can set the picture as you wants, for example, with more color, a little redder, with more contrast, more sharply, with warmer colors, etc. … Also a black and white mode is available here. 4 ms response time, he is obviously very fast for a TV this size.
Design:
The shiny black makes, no matter whether modern or old-fashioned room, just super. The design itself looks very classy and the speakers are well hidden. The base has a decent weight and guarantees super stable and can be rotated by an estimated 20° in both directions. Fingerprints and scratches are hard to see, but dust on the shiny black one immediately jumps into the eye.
Conclusion:
The television from Sharp in the 52 inch format shows off not only with a classy look, but yet support full HD, thus achieving an absolutely perfect picture quality. The high quality of picture and sound, plenty of features, 5 stars here for must have item!
