LG 32lh3000 LCD TV Review
32LH3000 Review by : “Smarter”
LG 32LH30 32-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black
To enjoy the full details of a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD you have to use a TV that supports 1080p.
At the moment this is one of the most economical Full-HD models.
The maximum resolution can be fully exploited using the HDMI inputs, 2 of which are located on the back and are HDMI 1.3.
Video Quality
Personally I find that the video quality is very high even on analog broadcasts in DVB-T.
The credit for this goes up to the XD Engine, which deals with pixelate, noising, scaling and management of color, contrast and backlight :
practically everything you need to improve image quality while minimizing the inconvenience.
In this I was able to compare the performance of the TV next to others even high-end, and I found respectable.
I feared for 60Hz (although personally I never liked the feeling of artificiality that give displays 120Hz) but thanks to a refresh rate of 5ms wake effects are much reduced.
If you feel very strongly this feature you should go on the new screens to 200Hz or more.
Audio Quality
The audio quality is good but there is actually better.
Different preset configurations (film, music, etc. ..) helps a bit as well as Clear Voice feature which allows you to enhance the dialogue in relation to other sounds, but overall the sound is a bit ‘lacking in bass.
Not bad though, especially for the speakers hidden in the TV.
Software and TV tuner
Overall a very good software: very nice and really easy to use.
Most functions can be used with a minimal use and intuitive remote control.
One feature that might not like as the system of exchange that makes slow channel zapping: Enter the number you want your TV is tuned to the channel, but in the top left shows a list of channels “similar” to that type.
For example, typing on 7 will be shown on 7 Digital, 7 analog 17 and maybe a couple more, and to select the channel you must click OK or wait about 3 seconds.
Obviously if we are already on the 7th will see the digital analog only 7 (not both) and vice versa.
This is actually very convenient especially when you want to switch from digital to analog, but just slows zapping (my personally it do not disturb)
If in the process of tuning to choose automatic sorting then you can not manually sort of digital channels, is in effect a behavior similar to the channels of Sky, and in any case, the list of digital and analog channels are managed separately, so if you’re on 3 and go forward 1 analog channel 4 analog switches to even if you prefer the 4 digital.
The list of “favorites” where you can enter without distinction analog and digital channels you want.
Also very convenient feature that allows you, via a simple button to switch very quickly the last two channels viewed.
Moreover, the TV software is automatically updated where necessary via the digital signal! … so there is written, I have not seen yet . The USB port that can not be used as data source for movies or music.
Design
The style is elegant, glossy black frame is a few inches wide and hides the 4 audio speakers.
The power LED will light red diffused (does not bother the eyes) when it is turned off, swinging from the inside out when going on to become blue when switched on. (to light takes about 6 seconds)
Package Contents and Manual
A soft microfiber cloth to clean fingerprints from the TV
(just made to mount the pedestal)
A instruction manual microscopic. And an excellent manual in PDF on CD, which also can also be downloaded from the site. The latter I found it simple and complete.
Warranty
LG warranty dead pixels 2 years and it takes at least 5 dead pixels so that we can send in warranty!
Anyway 1 dead pixel on a 32 “full-HD is not invisible.
In conclusion, as the shops are usually found at around 600 Dollars, A good TV at a fair price.

60 LCD TV has the foremost depth for the price I think. You get the exquisite detail and you can see it very well in any lighting condition.
