LG 42LD550 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV

Today  I will report my experience to the LG television. This is a 42-inch flat screen TV FullHD LCD known as: LG 42LD550. Fortunately, our living room is large enough to hung this TV to enjoy full movies experience.

The TV set I have seen for the first time in a large electronics store, Then I searched on the Internet at home and have found a vendor sells the same device for $799. I’ve ordered one weeks later.

The TV was shipped via DHL. So it was basically just a big, flat and heavy cardboard, which was coming into my home.

First of all, I noticed that everything was packaged very well. When  unpacking all the parts I’ve looked more closely, but found nothing  negative.

Then I have to, ordered separately, wall mount to hung on the wall. Current turn, turn on and immediately start the menu. I personally prefer such simplicity in the menu control.
Even in the dark you can still use the menus well, since the manufacturer has thought to back lit illumination of the buttons on the remote control.

The first one will be asked which country you live and what language should be in the menu.  Then you can if you want or need to set the channels and basic settings, such as date, time,etc. can be adjust to the picture and sound settings.

There are many points which I will not enumerate here. Then I turned on my HDTV and at first looked a normal program. That was a very good picture, but then I run a HD movie (Bluray). Every little detail is visible. You can even see the one actress has a hair stuck in the face … that would not at all with a normal TV set to see.

The image is razor sharp, Even playing with a game console to this TV is funniest. The graphics are great and the picture smooth.

It comes with the Trumotion 120Hz technology and 24p support make for a true movies experience.

Something that always excites me is the possibility of internet, “Netcast” bring the best Internet services to your TV such as Youtube, Netflix, TV show, Weather and ETC.

The sound is also great, 20watt speaker and surround sound.

A small point of criticism I’ve yet found, but the probably have 90% of all flat-screen devices, are glossy black color. One can see on the Shining surface everything. When cleaning must use very soft cloth, microfiber is best. I’m very pleased with my LG. Recommended!
