Hello, I have this TV for several weeks and it is simply awesome. He has a great picture quality and a good sound.
In my opinion, It’s one of the best LED-backlit HDTV on the market, I spent a lot of time in various forums and various  websites. After several weeks I have come to the conclusion that this TV is perfect for my needs.
I will tell you only the basic features of television, the ones that made me choose this one. LG 42LE5500!!

42 inches : I needed a TV big enough for the room because I see it even at a distance of more than 3 meters and I have no problem of space in a cabinet where it is located because it rests on a normal TV stand. These are points to consider in the choice for optimal viewing at close quarters rather a smaller TV.

Full HD : its pixel resolution is higher than that of the hd ready and allows the viewing of images in high-definition movies broadcast on a bluray or HD footage from a camera in addition to any HD broadcasts if they have an HD decoder. And with 120Hz : This allows a more fluid movement in the scenes without the bad effect that the wake was noticed very early in LCD TV.

5000000:1 Dynamic Contrast : I’d say a good contrast because the picture, especially in very definite and clear digital channels. For the analog TV quality depends on the antenna, in my case is good.

LED-backlit : This has the honor of having the tv really thin, like a picture. A little heavy (it’s about 36 pounds) and with consumption of less than the LCD TV. The cons are: the price for TV LED current is higher than the LEDs backlit.

Built-in HD decoder : a decoder that is not interactive but in high definition so I can see the television broadcasts in HD, such football matches in HD and Formula 1.

USB : that lets you insert a memory stick or an external hard drive for viewing images or movies.
Very good because I can directly see the photos of digital camera. Just go to the menu item and select usb media.
Opens a screen that displays the image folders on the external support is in the order in which the form of a presentation with background music.

input : This is also an important factor because the older devices like VCRs or DVD players or even a simple set-top box is linked precisely through component. Latest TV are no longer such an output for me it is fundamental.

The OSD menu is what allows you to adjust all the parameters of the tv, a bit ‘as computer screens. There is a more general and deeper for specialists.

Honestly, I seem to have made a good purchase, the vision of the digital program is very clear, sometimes it seems
