LG 42LK450 42-Inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD HDTV

After I reported some time ago about the LG, I would now like to introduce the Great, who lives in my living room. I have it already in use for several weeks and today I would like to tell you my experience.

Of course, first connected the power cable to the TV .. Then, Inserted the antenna cable. After that followed the Start menu. The TV takes you step by step through the settings.

The guide leads one through the initial setup. The operation of the menu is very simple. By clicking on the remote control menu and then opens a window. Also The operation of the device is really easy and very clear.

The design of the 42LK450 is really good but I have refrained from the stand and attach the device to a wall bracket to the wall. The device has a border of black piano lacquer. It looks elegant and modern. The only downside is that the shiny surface very quickly attract dust and pet hair.

The picture is very sharp, the colors look really tired. However, I sometimes think the picture a bit pixelate, but that’s not always. Perhaps because that I have not yet converted all channels on HD. But I must say that I do not have a HD receiver. I have a Wii connected to the device. Again, I am very satisfied.

The TV has “only” 60 Hz, no 120th But I must confess that my purchase was not important, because I have not taken on it. I still have the TV connected to analog cable, the picture is still ok.

The quality of the sound is not bad, but I’m accustomed to the sound through the system. That’s a lot better. So I turn on my stereo and put the television always on mute. So I have a great sound and can enjoy my surround sound. Especially with DVD movies that is very important to me.

The remote control responds immediately, found no delays (except for a cat sitting in front of the television ….)

A strong background noise can not found. it’s no hum and whistles, nothing. At least if you sit in the normal distance from the TV. Going to get up close, you can hear a slight hum.

Conclusion
The price was crucial for me here and just as full HD. I’m generally a fan of LG and when I saw the price, I’m immediately struck. I have not regretted the purchase until today.
