After my good old CRT TV has given up the ghost, it was time for a new device. In my specifications for the new device were: LCD Tv, 120Hz, 40 – 46 inch, full HD and 3x HDMI. After days of searching the same kind and read all the reviews, I made the decision to place an order with Amazon for this unit. Here was the LG 46LD550, as it met all the requirements.

Delivery: So fast that one can hardly look (as always with Amazon) and of course a top quality.
Operation is simple via the menu without any major problems and without constantly read in the manual possible. Even the stand is great and stable. Only the screw on the unit is somewhat easily.

The built-in tuner is already satisfied with analog TV looks a little washed-out nature, but is still not much worse than an old tube TV. In particular, digital and HD TV is where the strength of the unit, there is absolutely nothing to complain about here, because the pictures are really sharp razor. The black levels are good, you won’t get deep black but dark colors are excellent with the best of the LCDs. Blu-ray movies are also shown in the really good quality. I also have the TV connected via HDMI to my PC and can only see movies on my computer in top quality. Therefore, the televisions are also easily used as a monitor.

The remote control is like the television in the LG typical piano lacquer look finish (shiny front, rear is simple plastic), which brings the advantages and disadvantages (looks good, but one really sees any fingerprint). The number field, and most other buttons are quite large and easily accessible. The digital, analog and radio stations will be performed in each different lists.

The sound is also okay, connections for the surround system or stereo system are available. The TV also offers the function to automatically adjust the volume while watching TV.

Netcast Entertainment feature : For me is very interesting because my Picasa pictures, Online albums can be viewed on the TV. Internet and television are growing more and more together here is already the first step is taken.

I must say: It has all exceeded my expectations!. I’m Totally satisfied and for this abnormally good value for money of course I give 5 points! and Service from Amazon, as always, top! Recommended!
