LG 47LS5700 47-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED-LCD HDTV with Smart TV

For people who are interested in buying a new TV, I would like to give a little insight to the device LG 47LS5700.

After my old tube had given up the ghost, I went on the internet to look for a large, Slim and cheap TV. Who has done this before, where the jungle of offers will be known. Finally I found LG 47LS5700 as described and I think it was the right decision

The design
The LG 47LS5700 is a slim, black TV with a thin, shiny screen surround, the white LG logo and a silver strip on the lower part of the front. The foot is also black and has a flat trapezoidal shape. On the back is a black metal case is also with an embedded, large LG logo.

The structure
To use the TV, you have to either fix it to a wall mount or mount the supplied stand.
This proved a little difficult at first for lack of description and made for some confusion with me, because I did not really know how to fix that part now on the TV. If one sees through the technique,  you can set up the TV and put into operation quickly.

The operation, transmitter settings
The LG 47LS5700 can certainly be described as a user-friendly, because even for me who had to do so far only with tube televisions, the establishment of the television designed to be extremely easy.

After I plugged the antenna cable, I could choose my cable provider and start the automatic tuning by menu. Found services were then from the TV automatically sorted into the categories. About the remote control button “Settings”, you can call the complete channel list, move or delete channels.

Furthermore, one can rename the existing stations and create favorite groups, which can later be accessed by the “Fav” button on the remote control.

The picture
Overall, the LG 47LS5700 boasts full HD capability. In digital mode, the image is crisp and looks impressive.
Of course there is the possibility to adjust brightness, sharpness, contrast, and also the screen size using the menu change.

The Sound
As with the picture, there is the sound of a number of individual settings. Again, the user has the option to select a preset sound mode and / or modify.

There is also the mode of “Infinite Surround,” which features a special sound experience by letting the spatial sound effect.
I use the Infinite Surround when see the movies – the normal TV program I could find very little difference between on-and off Infinite Surround.

The connections
The television has various ports that allow you to connect a variety of devices. So you can use it via the VGA connection as a monitor for your PC or connect other devices via USB, HDMI. Furthermore, a network connection is available.
On the remote control to that is the “input” to choose when actuated, is representing which port you want.

I love to use the TV as a monitor very much for my laptop to play games. If It connects via HDMI, you can set the tone of the game and then play back on your TV.

Remote Control
The remote control has the media buttons play, stop, pause, forward and backward, so that the TV can be used for connection to an appropriately equipped device as a player for movies or music, without that another remote control is required.

Conclusion
I have this TV, now for almost 2 months and I have not regretted buying. Through its many adjustment options can adjust the TV exactly the way you want it and with its many connections it can be used for any need.

LG – Life’s good, the greeting at the start of the TV. Yes, indeed. This TV allows good, relaxed, fun evenings and my life has actually embellished a little bit! : O)
