I had the LG 55LK520 about 2 weeks now and I’m very happy with it. For an unbeatable price, good quality is offered.

Unpacked and set up quickly. Is a matter of 10-15 minutes. Design is great. Just as I had imagined.

After the most important steps are done, it is also already happening. I connected the TV with a digital satellite Receiver, a very high quality BD player and PS3 via HDMI.

The operation is generally quite simple and is very intuitive, The control menu of the LG 55LK520 is pleasantly simple. All settings can be found quickly and easily. The switching times are short and pleasant. Also the I like the remote control with large buttons.

The picture quality is first class in my opinion, razor-sharp HD picture of the free channels, there really is no noise or the like to see. The normal channels are very well presented. The DVD playback via HDMI works without problems – again, a very good picture. Overall, the picture quality has exceeded my expectations.

To play with a PS3 I can give a very positive feedback. I played with my kid and can say nothing negative about sound or pictures.

The sound is mediocre but absolutely sufficient for normal programs. Only in music and (action) movies, rather weak, then I would run the sound through a surround sound system.

With USB Connection: What can I say, it works. My hard disk: NTFS 2TB Samsung Story Station 3, which plays most of the data to MKV, AVI, MPEG, Xvid divX, it all quickly and from very good quality. Switching between chapters works well with almost no delay. So you can be nice to convert all the videos from the camera in any format and watch on TV.

Conclusion:

The LG55LK520 is absolutely great! The workmanship is good, the setting is very simple and intuitive, The picture is REAL, the remote control very well and wonderful sound. It’s a cheap and great LCD TV! 5 Star! Clear buy recommendation!
