I was looking for televisions to meet my old 32-inch CRT TV, CRT no longer made so I went to get LED TV who say they are cheaper and better than the plasma TV. LG 42LE5400 42 inch HDTV with LED technology and 120Hz, making it synonymous with pictures rich in color and small detail.

The screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixel full HD which means that the images are very good, clear, crisp, and excellent contrast between dark and light colors. To enjoy the HD quality regardless of the format to be played, the 42LE5400 is equipped with an XD Engine for make vivid color, high contrast and good noise reduction.

The sound quality is very good, two hidden speakers do not distort its beautiful design.
The remote is very complete, something usual with LG, easy to use, highly predictive and very clear. From this remote can control the programming to 48 hours to view the EPG guide.

The assembly is very simple, just slides the base into the back of the monitor support. With a click, done. This base has a bracket to hold the cables collected placed at the end when all are connected. Within minutes you’re all done without any complication.
This base has a rotation angle not exceeding 45 degrees but is enough to move the TV wherever you want, considering that its resolution is perfect at any angle you have no problem.

This LG series LE5400 has a complete connectivity and functional as it is to live up to their audiovisual performances. 4 HDMi for your digital sources and 2 USB 2.0 so you can enjoy multimedia files stored on your external drive (pictures, music, videos…).

It has Wi-Fi for Internet access and DLNA to access content stored on your computer.
The DLNA allows you to access files such as video or music that stored on your computer directly from the remote without connecting any wires. To play videos in HD from your computer you should use a IEEE 802.11n router.

I hope I have helped with this information, the LG brand offers good quality and comfort. This TV had a price tag of 1399.99 dollars but were selling for 950 dollars. The TV is highly recommended, with a set price for their quality and performance. Personally it is a great TV in every respect.
