Samsung LN32D550 32-Inch 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV [Black]

I opted for Samsung, because I’ve heard from colleagues and friends that Samsung LN32D550 is the best for the price and quality of FullHD LCD TV and I was convinced. Now is the TV in front of me and I am extremely happy with it.

The Design
Touch of color design (Black). The surface is reflective and the TV is on a square plastic base. The surface of the Stand is made of plastic. So on first glance, looks very chic. The simplicity of the design are just quality and style.

Of course you can mount the TV on the wall, but this extra wall mount is required, which unfortunately is not included here. The wall mount cost $ 26 then again at least for the cheap version and up to $ 80 for a deluxe wall bracket that can rotate up / down, left and right.

Back of the TV we see the various interfaces. It is also a Scart connection and other connections for various audio and home theater system etc. Also on the side has a USB port. You can add a USB stick connected to the television, to multimedia content. The TV has a specially integrated media player, so it can reproduce the data on the stick.

The remote looks quite square and was kept simple. With the remote control but it may be a bit more to show ingenuity, because it looks really boringly normal, like any other remote control too.

Other manufacturers will be doing much more effort to make real art objects from the remote control, such as eg Phillips.

Picture / Sound quality
The picture quality on this TV is very good. Even to see on regular cable TV channels received very well. In any case, much better than tube TVs. However HD channels razor sharp, and you really notice the difference between normal channels and HD channels. The difference is really huge and many small details are visible, that with the regular cable channels perceive not.

However particularly good effect is the Full HD picture on consoles that support HD, as for example the Playstation 3 The game experience is with a HDTV is simply not the same as with a tube TV. The environments are simply denser atmosphere and the characters just look livelier and more colorful. All razor sharp and in an incredibly high resolution.

This TV also has an excellent response to command input via controller, etc. and is thus very suitable for PC and consoles. In other LCD screens makes a noticeable flicker, because the response time is not as high. However this TV is perfect for video games.

You can also connect this TV to the PC without problems. The TV automatically adjust when connected to a PC and automatically takes over the resolution, so no need change anything.

The TV is just perfect, and the unbeatable price for only $ 4xx. For an additional charge of approximately $ 100, you can even buy a Samsung LCD TV 37-inch version. I personally own the 32 inch version and It is enough for me.

I highly recommend this LCD TV definitely continue. That picture is very good and the sound is also ok. The price performance ratio, this TV is unbeatable. Of course there are better 32-inch TVs that have an entire corner better picture and sound quality, but the luxury units in the LCD LED TV also cost $800 and more.
