Panasonic L42E30 Review
Panasonic 42 inch LED TV – TC-L42E30 120Hz 1080p
L42E30 Review By “J. Marcos”
At first, We were skeptical because of the size (which is the right size?) but after much research and many comparisons, I decided to buy the Panasonic TC-L42E30. The Reason of Purchase was the design and an integrated triple-tuner.
The attachment of the stand was easily. Similarly, the automatic setup of DVB-S. I managed thats channels without problems and without guidance. The onscreen menu is pretty straightforward and easy to understand.
The picture quality, we found great. Although, a large window in the background but, Since the TV but has a matte display, light interference is not a problem. HD channels are great. SD channels depending on the quality of the transmitter as well. DVD playback with up-scaling via HDMI is similarly good the HD picture. We have no experience with Bluray.
Unfortunately, the sound is not as good, just Ok. Gaming for the TV, I think It is a perfect, games such as: Call of Duty : Modern Warfare look very good (tested on Xbox 360).
A 2.5″ HDD USB works well as the recording media (was supposed to work only with 3.5″ and power supply). The SD Card Playback works perfectly.
Internet access via LAN was also successful. The firmware update succeeded but only at the third attempt (evening). The Panasonic website is rather poor. Another phrase for the remote. Good quality, large, non-slip buttons, compared to other manufacturers a good argument.
Conclusion: Chic, sophisticated device that meets our expectations. Absolutely a recommendation, and at one month, I’m still excited about my purchase of the device. The price is for a device that has only come onto the market in April but acceptable.
