Panasonic P50GT30 Review
Panasonic P50GT30 50-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV
Review By “Lewis M Reed”
After 4 weeks of intensive testing, I would like to write a review to the Panasonic Plasma TV P50GT30.
In summary, I can say that I recommend it unconditionally.
Because of the many different opinions on the Internet and also sometimes very misleading reporting of some magazines I had a little hesitant to buy this plasma TV. But now I have not regretted it.
Rating:
- Delivery: by DHL on time, get on the promised date
- Installation: simple, but due to the weight you need in any case two people.
- Start-up (I have attached a HD receiver and a Bluray disc player from Panasonic) simply on HDMI
- Picture quality: very good
As with all TVs with this resolution depends on the subjective perception of the source. However, I find the picture outstanding. HD TV and Blu-ray represents the TV in great quality on which there is nothing wrong. From SD television is very good (with appropriate bit rate).
In addition, You are all possibilities to adjust the picture according to your needs. Black is black and the image is bright enough, even in bright rooms. The colors are very natural.
The picture is very good over the whole panel. There is no illumination problems as with LED TVs. Plasma Burn-in or other alleged problems I’ve not noticed so far.
- Lateral view: You can watch TV the whole family, there is no restriction (a main reason for purchasing)
- Built-in Tuner: Here I can not comment it, because I do not use this.
- Sound: very good compared to other flat panel displays, which I had previously considered.
- Noise: No noticeable.
- Multimedia:
The Media Player plays many formats. This is also connected by a NTFS disk. Some formats will unfortunately cannot fast-forward. The stream I have tested and seen to be good, but rarely use it. The media server (streaming) are playable. In my opinion the most important are included. Internet applications work very well. I take this very rare. On the PC, it is more convenient.
Conclusion: The price-performance ratio of the TV, I feel very good. If you do not want a Clouding or other effects, P50GT30 is your choice. More 170 Customer Reviews
