Panasonic TC-P55GT30 Review
Panasonic 3D Plasma TV – TC-P55GT30 55-Inch 1080p 600Hz [Black]
Review By “Sponge Pop!”
I had a 3 years old 37-inch Panasonic plasma TV, and therefore was the “good” experience but not as great because I think plasma technology is probably already quite mature and very hard to improve.
As I stand in the apartment a 32-inch LED TV from Panasonic, I thought for sometime, maybe buy the new LED TV. However, I changed my mind. From careful analysis of all factors, now the choice was clear to the plasma. Big screen plasma TV!
The reasons:
Although the LED has a sharper and brighter image and the effect in very bright rooms even stronger, In addition, It is better suited for games and PC, but the image is very hard to compared to the plasma and not easy on the eyes, you tired faster. Also, Sometimes it shows depth and the colors are very unnatural. The Clouding effect is also a problem.
With the LED technology is probably still much room for improvement.
The image of the plasma affects the other hand, softer and more homogeneous, also the black level and contrast is outstanding, as well as the fast response time and 600Hz technology should not be forgotten.
The HD picture is amazing really when HD material is used.
The SD picture is relatively good, however, depends on the station.
The images at 1080p playback of Blu-Ray recorders are fantastic, outstanding.
Who likes to watch movies or sporting events, in this sun-filled rooms for the plasma is the right choice.
The power consumption is slightly higher in plasma compared to LCD, but not as serious as it was a few years.
The possibility of “branding” is still, however, if some information is also considered a problem.
The heat on the back is low, in a darkened room in ECO mode only lukewarm.
Here the 37-inch predecessor heated much more.
The 3-D effect is not really convinced me. Is indeed a nice gag, but remains ultimately only an illusion. It also raises the question of how well the well is for the eyes and brain, because it is so unreal.
Thus, in the instructions warning you when eye pain, nausea and dizziness should to take off the glasses immediately …
The sound quality is very good, enough for conventional use.
For movies or music programs but should connect a 5.1 system.
The connectivity options are abundant.
Recording to an external USB hard drive is easy and comfortable.
The photo and video management are excellent, the images are played brilliantly.
The Internet features I have not been tested.
The encrypted receipt with the card on the CI module presented no problems.
Conclusion:
Great device with excellent image quality in a modern, sleek design.
Outstanding price / performance ratio.
