TC-P42G25 Review By “iChiko”
TVs are products that every household has or will be required. Since many people with a new purchase of a TV unit face many questions, a new purchase is always to be treated with caution.
A new television have lots of features and a purchase is also associated with a lot of costs. A bad buy who does not meet its own expectations, could happen.
To give relief to many people from a TV purchase, I am writing this post to the Panasonic Plasma TV TC-P42G25
Here I would like to give short a purchase decision on the three most common types of television. For many will advance to face the question. Which device to buy now. LCD, plasma or even a 3D version.
My personal opinion is that 3D TVs are still not mature. There are currently no 3D TVs on the market that will work even without 3D glasses, ie you must always wear glasses to experience the 3D world. Samsung already has another television production with the function without glasses, but this device is not yet released for the production line. In addition, the current price is still very expensive for 3D devices.
Comparison of LCD to plasma I find it very easy. While 80% of people think, LCD is much better than plasma. But these are vastly mistaken. Plasmas do not belong on the scrap heap, as described by many reviews.
However, Plasma have the best black level that you ever seen. LCD display instead of the black image is still a light gray image. For me as a home cinema user is impeccable black level is a must. Skin tones are realistic. LCD TVs tend to override images. They look fake. and also plasma tv has very high viewing angle, ie even if I watch TV from side, everything looks perfect.
These are just a few examples. Anyone who is still unsure whether LCD or plasma should read various articles on the web.
Back to Panasonic TC-P42G25, Since many people have different image sources, ie Satellite, cable or antenna, you have to look for when buying it. However, this plasma has a triple tuner integrated. That is, you can always switch to a cable signal, satellite signal or antenna signal.
The automatic tuning is simple and takes place after 2-3 confirmations with the remote control. The duration is about 30 minutes.
Viera Tools is Integrated in TV. Viera is the program name for Panasonic TVs.
With Viera tools can be seen on a video or picture – access files that are connected by an external device (eg USB stick).
With Viera Link you can access Internet via TV link. Eg. you can watch the weather can select the news. Also you can access on youtube etc..
You can install the TV in the home network. I.e. one is via a wireless adapter to the router.
I personally have it as. made so that I have connected the TV with my router and set up my PC as a server. Now the TV access via WiFi on my computer and open data or play. (Works with audio, video, image)
Also you can play as audio Internet streams from your PC directly to the TV.
I have the TV now for well over half a year, watch TV every day and I have recently connected a Wii. I’m still excited about this brilliant image.
Who wants to have quality over the years when watching TV and wants to buy a plasma that is just right for this device. I hope this post was not too long, but I could write much more about this fabulous device.
