Philips 42PFL7403D/27 42-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV
I bought this TV Philips 42PFL7403D/27. This TV hit me when I saw him in store and on the internet, for the price now is very good, at least in my part, I was able to compare with many models of all brands or nearly so, and no offering such features to $930.00 dollars.
But before the price was the picture quality, I was able to compare it to other Philips models, also very different. obvious that any difference between dynamic contrast 29,000:1 and my eyes appear so higher, indeed we must not concentrate well to appreciate the obvious difference. So you have a TV with style, not the usual black and has a sleek.
Here are some features I like:
- rescales the video, it eliminates the black bands, although these there is the symbol of the channel (such as Discovery, FX, etc.) so you take advantage of all the 42 “but did not notice at first sight distortions.
This function is very fast and not lose any subtitles that were to appear, the video is simply converted.
- has an automatic control over brightness and contrast that is suitable to every scene moment by moment, this feature is customizable menu by adjusting the intensity
- has a function to reduce noise, very useful given that the panel high resolution makes it very obvious defects in a video at normal resolution
Low cost, but it has everything in the right place.
It has two tuners, one analog and one DTT, unfortunately are not separated, ie when it is stored on the remote control.
I conclude that for now is a good TV by suitable cost. Ahh forgot, the audio is not bad.
Price : $930.00 dollars (Jul 2010)
