I’m not a techie. And was looking for an inexpensive HDTV, yet stylish with good sound.

After a long study of test results and reviews I decided because the features of Philips 55PFL5706/F7. I own him now 4 weeks and am really excited.

The design is slim and attractive.
This TV has the very valuable and much better integrated into the home environment than standard TVs with its glossy black surface.

Setting up the TV has brought to me no problems.
I find the menus fairly simple and self explanatory, furthermore, there is a good “Help text” in the device itself. Installation and setting up the channel go easy. I did not need a manual. A manual is not only a “Quick Start Guide”. The online documentation is very good.

The picture quality is great. The image of the HD channels via cable is excellent for me, even sports / football perfectly. Analogue broadcasts will also be played quite well. The Pixel Precise HD is not only beautiful, but also increases the cinematic experience.

Just yesterday I saw War of the Worlds, in this film, there are many storms and other dire scenarios! Through the midst of Pixel Precise HD makes you feel these environments! The room sparkles and adapts itself to fit the colors and mood! It’s great!

My Philips TV is connected to the internet and I can easily stream the data from my PC! great A Playstation 3 ran perfectly! Great Picture here again with Pixel Precise HD – Class:)

The sound is also great in our living room for normal demands absolutely fine and significantly better than most other flat-screen TVs in this price range.

Includes a hard drive via USB to it is immediately detected and I can choose to display photos and other media stored in folders.

All in all, Just great, in terms of usability. I look forward to further exploring the possibilities of this device and can definitely recommend the purchase. >> More Reviews
