Samsung UN46C8000 46-Inch 1080p 3D 240 Hz LED HDTV

Hello and welcome to my review on the Samsung UN46C8000 3D  LED TV.
I am particularly pleased with the image of this TV. I was expecting too much and I’m not disappointed. The colors are deep and alive. The 240 Hz gives a good flow to the image. The different possible settings are well explained and easy to use.

The TV does a very fine impression with clean lines and thin, The frame of the TV has a light metal in aluminum design. Below the panels in the middle of the aluminum frame a Samsung logo is located in a client’s corporate font.

The base is made of a metal in polished stainless steel finish and offers a nice contrast to the more matte brushed aluminum frame of the TV. The combination like it very much and after I have this TV in the living room, I would never buy a black device. Overall the TV looks really very smart.

The Digital TV
The image reproduced on a digital signal is really impressive, The entire image is very sharp and extreamly clear. The contours are very sharp and in general I can not say anything adverse from the picture on digital TV reception.The Full HD panel may very well convert the digital signal.

The glasses are connected with via infrared to the TV. The glasses are very comfortable to wear, only 34 grams. In the area of the nasal bone was incorporated into a soft material which contributes to wear.

3D in TV mode
I tried the glasses in normal TV mode and have to say that the 3D effect is very good advantage. However, these are only at a depth of perception and not the effect we know from the movies. So there are no objects flying towards us. However, I think the effect really well.

Blu Ray in 3D mode
When you see a 3D Blu Ray the 3D effect is somewhat more pronounced than in the normal TV operation. Here you really feel you could reach into the TV. The edges are very sharp and the 3D illusion of depth is impressive. Really a very nice effect.

With this starter kit you can immediately dive into the 3D experience. However, this kit will sold separate.

Blu Ray movies not designed for 3D, But the Samsung LED TV excellently converted into 3D.

For this I have tried “300″ and “I am Legend” and here comes the 3D effect is also very good effect. Really a great 3D experience at home. I was really surprised as the 3 D effect even when the films are not designed for 3D work has. For this purpose, the television has earned another plus point.

The 3D effect also works with standard DVDs which I was also pleasantly surprised.
Overall, I feel this technique of 3D playback and a real innovation, and shows the true strength of the Samsung LED TV UN46C8000.

The sound
As mentioned on the TV has two built-in stereo speakers with 20 watts of power. For my taste the sound in the default settings a little too bright, but can be remedied by adjust bass and treble in the sound menu, then I adjust to my personal taste.

Furthermore, a surround sound effect which can be set, however, can not be compared with modern Dolby Digital systems. I use the surround mode for normal TV not because I would rather hear regular stereo and when I look at a movie anyway turn on my Dolby system.

The TV has 4 HDMI slots. I personally find the number of HDMI slots sufficient. If you think that HDMI is now the standard for Blu Ray players, game consoles, HD recorders, DVD players and in digital television reception. Using an included adapter cable is also the possibility of a PC, Mac or laptop to connect to the TV. I use it quite often, I create many presentations on the PC and then look on the TV to check the effect.

The feature Internet @ TV offers a variety of content such as YouTube videos, access to Facebook, Twitter and Google Maps.

In the Internet @ TV screen is also an integrated app store by looking at different apps to download for customization. There is a mix of Informationsapps, Spieleapps, Sportapps and Lifestyleapps. Currently, all content is free of charge.

Most often I use the Youtube app anyway since I often staying on Youtube, I can now do this even on TV. But to be honest I’m at the PC or laptop go faster and find the content I am looking for easier than on the Internet @ TV.

The navigation with the remote control is compared to the PC with keyboard and mouse too cumbersome. Nevertheless, Internet @ TV is a very good idea and certainly an eye catcher when you want to access on the television to Internet content. Skype works almost as well as on the PC. However, I am sitting here in front of the PC rather than watching television.

In addition, offers Internet @ TV Apps some games like poker, Mahjong, Sudoku, and many more. However, I find that content, nice although to play with the remote control.

Conclusion
The Samsung LED UN46C8000 3D TV convinced me by a classically elegant design, a strong picture, good remote control, connectivity in low power consumption. The wide range of features and preinstalled programs offer something for every taste matching.
