Samsung UN55c6300 review
Samsung LED TV 55 inch 120Hz 1080p – UN55c6300 [Black]
UN55c6300 Review By “Geromio:”
For more than a month of UN55c6300 is in my living room and I’ve since taken a long time to test it extensively. I opted for the device, because I wanted to have in any case, 55-inch, 120Hz, Full HD, LED backlighting and a triple-tuner. Although right now I receive via cable, but since the changes may soon, I wanted to already have the satellite tuner on board. The Samsung has combined these properties at the best price.
The packaging was perfect, to attach the base plate need a second person holds the TV in the screws, without problems. Connection and furnishings were not a problem. I receive TV via cable, as I said, so I can talk only about this tuner and the channel search. Automatic tuning has everything done and sorted the channels found in different lists (Analog, Digital, etc.).
The operation is intuitive. The remote control is designed clearly has big buttons with big lettering and lighting. All menus are logical and self explanatory. So much for construction and operation, now with picture and sound:
The picture quality is very good. This can be stated as short and concise. Even analog TV program will be processed first. It is of course not as sharp as crisp HD footage, but it seems not a bit muddy, sharpness and colors are OK. The high-definition television is still a step further and looks much clearer and sharper. Who has access to the HD TV channels will be able to detect a significant difference and enjoy. The playback of DVDs of the TV is very good. Of course the TV with Full HD content, such as PS3 and Blu Ray. A seating distance of 2m or less is easily done and works great.
Compared to LCD TVs with backlight tubes that I have ever seen, the black when UN55c6300 really black, not the medium to dark gray. When watching dark movies a lot more fun. Amazingly, the picture is even better (darker, richer colors) than the smaller model of the C6300, which I ever seen. Why is this, I can not say with certainty.
The setting is in fact a separate subject. If we take the default settings, the picture is only good but not the best. I have a lot of experimenting with different settings and lighting conditions, until I found a solution that I was satisfied. Surprisingly, I was only happy when I had turned on the Eco mode. For which ensures that the image is not too bright (especially when it is dark in the room) and so there are no or almost no Clouding.
The sound is very good for internal speakers, I was pleasantly surprised. Such a deep, rich sound I had not expected in the flat case. For normal everyday use ranging from boxing, in any case. For movies, then it should already be a little more, so I wanted to connect the TV to my home theater.
Conclusion: Great panel, by a great picture, a very good sound and offer with many features. Price | Performance ratio is also fantastic.. Absolute Recommended!
