Since our old tube TV in the living room has now developed its own life by starting a repair frequently, So I decided to buy new LED HDTV from Samsung.

The Samsung UN40D6300 offers a screen size of 101 cm.
The panel is Ultra Clear Panel, It has a good quality and thus has no dead pixels. However, it is slightly reflective, but It does not affect very negatively.

The case / display frame consists of Plastic, which is held in high gloss and additionally decorated with a acrylic glass. The back, where the number of connections are available, is also made of plastic. The foot is made of glass and can be rotate to the left and right 20 degree.

The total processing of this device is to be evaluated with good. Attached with six screws that TV is assembled quickly and easily. Yes, he already looks chic.

The unit is full, “FULL HD” capable, 1920×1080 pixels.
All the main reception tuner like, DVB T / C / and S2 are installed.
There are 4x HDMI, 3x USB, 1x Digital Output, 1x PC input, 1x SCART, 1x antenna. A card slot for the CI-Card is also available.

It is also possible picture in picture as well as many other gadgets.
One can also use a smartphone as a remote control.
The built-in speaker also provides a 3D sound and an output of 2×10 Watts.

First I connected the unit via cable (cable connection).
The general menu is well and the programs are installed from the network quickly. The analog image is surprisingly good. It is not bad, good as a CRT device.

The digital picture in HD is a feast for the eyes. Everything is just right.
There comes a faultless colorful and very sharp image. Also, DVD’s and DivX’s are played in best quality. Also, this TV offers a very good black level.

The so-called “Clouding” is not really an issue. It’s visible but hardly recognizable. It does not bother so VERY NICE!

The switching between the various programs running very quickly, which is with LED-TV’s not always common. This is also the good processor responsible.
