Samsung ln40A750 Review by : “BigD”

Samsung LN40A750 Samsung LN40a750 40 lcd tv ReviewI have this TV for several months now, from May and I have never been disappointed in any aspect.

Connectivity

In terms of connections on this TV is spoiled for choice: there are several HDMI ports, prepared to engage in high-definition signal (a standard can not miss on TV today) as well as numerous links old generation (scart and friends). But Samsung did not merely provide links to audio / video, this TV even offers the possibility to use USB mass storage devices (to play various multimedia files) and to network through Ethernet port (you can access functions are not essential but very nice).Design

Needless to say, so much technological as it is beautiful. It ‘was purchased in my case to be put in a very classic lounge, with furniture mostly roots thanks to the nuances of the frame is perfect for offering the environment where it is located.
And if your fingers touched the bottom right side of the frame of the touch keys will discover the hidden command. Excellent choice. I would have liked a bit of mobility in the base, as happens in the later series.

Digital Terrestrial

Obviously this TV is very ready to receive digital terrestrial, and even allows the viewing of free channels in HD (in areas where it is already there who “enjoys” Canale5 in HD). The downside is that yes, the TV has a slot common interface (the common interface, or where the cards are inserted Media set Premium and Dahlia, for example)

but only the first generation of U.S. and not for new, also ensures that the vision of encrypted channels in HD: I do not think NOW is a serious problem, transmitting high-definition event requires a large amount of bandwidth that the current broadcasters seem to have (when I write off a Media set couple of premium channels to broadcast the game in HD).

GUI

Absolutely user friendly, or friendly to the user who is using the TV. I think everyone from the guru as tecnlogia denied can configure this TV.
First turned proposes, of course, execution of tuning that is done fairly quickly and within minutes you are ready to receive the new TV. Rearrange channels? Create a favorite list? Correct settings of brightness, color, etc? Change the values equalizer? Nothing more simple, everything is well organized and under every menu command provides a brief explanation as clear.

Remote control

Subject of my pride is the ultimate remote control with button illumination is beautifully realized in my view, spacious and well-spaced keys allow a simple and intuitive.
It also boasts the presence of a sort of rotating bezel that takes on different functions depending on the necessity to increase or decrease the volume, change channels, move up the vision of video or listening to music from USB. Many users complain that it has a poor receive, I try to watch on the couch (and the remote with me) I can always perform actions in a normal way, without being forced to point it at the receiving sensor.

It occurs to me that perhaps can be a factor in battery, which is sometimes sorely tested because you forgot the light on (even with auto-off resumes at every movement, warning)

Extra Features
Most are considered unnecessary, are interesting for me (also the only know them!).

- Content Library (Library Content) contains mini-games, recipes, pictures and slideshows of fitness programs, certainly not essential but very nice.
- Media Center is not just a super media center, but it performs its function very well; fishing files from USB key (unfortunately can not read the hard discs) and proposes dividing them with a good graphical interface, the second major failing is signed reading files.
- DLNA: using the wired connection (Ethernet) or wireless (with key sold separately) you can send files from PC to your TV for comfortable viewing.Samsung LN40A750 Screen 300x125 Samsung LN40a750 40 lcd tv Review

Audio
Not much to say, almost all flat screen TV audio is a weak point, not to influence the design of the boxes are placed on the back of the TV and the quality is not optimal. I checked, however, that the custom parameters varied depending on how you can get heard a decent quality audio.

Video
To be appointed first policy “Dead Pixel”  Samsung, ensures in the first 6 months (if not mistaken) does not guarantee that you will present cases of dead pixels.
Without going into technical details we can say that the image quality is high, and it is possible for the more meticulous set all their customizations like in the video, while for “normal” users the Entertainment Mode allows you to choose some Image display mode (by setting both video and audio) with the push of a button and no special skills required.

Final Notes
This Samsung is used a lot during the day, sometimes at night and has never presented any problem: I am really satisfied with the product.
Equally satisfied with the Samsung customer service has been able to respond in the only two times I contacted a professional, friendly and comprehensive solving the small problem I had with the common interface very quickly.

As well as the necessities of food and water in the bunkers, they will also have items such as seeds for growing their own produce over the years. By supplying the seeds in these bunkers, new life will be sustained going forward. Many believe that it will be years or decades before the earth’s aboveground soil would be able to grow and sustain plant life.
