Samsung LED 2011 UN40D6300 Review
Samsung UN40D6300 LED HDTV 2011 [Black]
UN40D6300 Review By “Latio”
First I must say, The TV has a great picture on standard resolution (SD). This is something that was very important for me to decide when to buy. Curiously, in the shops tend to have all TVs connected to a HD source, either a DTT channel in HD or Blu-ray, but no way to see how it will behave with a normal DVB-T or DVD. The truth is that all HD TVs have an amazing picture quality.
Where it does look different is SD. So, after much looking, I saw that in general the Samsung had better SD scaling. There are other brands that also do very good work but the Samsung wins on value for money. So if you do not want to lose quality compared to your old tube TV in the DVB standard viewing or DVD I can tell you that with this model Samsung 6000 Series You’ll be happy.
My model is the UN40D6300, I bought 40 inch because 40 inch is fit in the cabinet where I had to insert (not having to change plan living room furniture when buy a TV), the distance is two feet fit perfectly, especially for HD content and do not miss the small details of the image. The TV is very thin and light. It is a pity that the screen is bright because it reflects a lot. In dark scenes you will be reflected if you have a window nearby.
The channels are easy to tune in and if you do not know how to make them have to look at the instructions (as in any unit). The remote is also easy to use, it can gain access to the external connections menu, change the format of the screen …
Sound OK, I think that the sound is not bad (10w of sound according to the manufacturer.) Almost always I have low volume because I think that’s enough. Anyway, this section also may set up and get the fit you like one. Finally, if you are not very demanding at this point, you have no problems with sound.
The TV saves the picture and sound settings for each source, the settings for TV, for each channel HDMI, component video, USB and others are loaded automatically each time you choose the source corresponding video.
And that’s all I’m happy with it. I bought it at a good price and gives me a great picture in SD and HD, with low power consumption. Just what I wanted. At the moment is what I can tell.
I hope that I have helped.
