Sharp LC40E67 Review
Sharp LC40E67 Review by : “Paranoid”
I have the TV for about 2 weeks. Overall, good value for money, but I think there are some flaws that I am not sure that is specific to the LCD TV or sex. The main problem is always the right color and brightness.
Television has a function that automatically sets the color, brightness and sharpness (I think the function is called the “OSC” or some similar acronym) based lighting in the room. I found that if this function is activated, the image is very boring. Only after this function and manually adjust the brightness, color and sharpness on my picture is not bright and fresh as you’d expect from an HDTV. The second concern is image quality.
When an object does not move quickly, the image is strong, but if someone or something is moving, there’s a little ‘a blur effect that allows the image to the TV to “focus” on this subject and make it stronger. Therefore, for some programs, you can not see the clarity of high definition is hoping for a TV of this type. I am not sure if you continue to change the settings of your TV give each of these problems.
The third issue concerns the TV is the sound quality, but is not very good or stereo-like. “This can certainly be solved by connecting to a TV surround sound system, but by itself the TV audio is absent. Fourth, a minor point: the TV requires a very long time, maybe 15 seconds. There is a serious drawback, but it is more than expected and can be annoying if you try to quickly optimize a program.
Finally, and This can be a problem for LCD TVs in general, I do not think that the picture compares well to my plasma (large) plasma.
TV, the colors, most blacks seem richer and more entertaining to watch sports programs that moving quickly.
