LC 40LE810UN Review By “Aubrey”

sharp lc 40le810un 300x219 Sharp LC 40LE810UN reviewsAfter several hours of sailing in a variety of forums and blogs and some comparison. The choice fall on Sharp LC40LE810UN. I’ve paid for $800 and I must admit, that part is worth every penny.

As you can see the type of TV reviewed the choice fell on a TV with LED tecnology. I have discarded the plasma mainly for consumption.

Installation – Extremely easy thanks to its low weight of only 25 pounds I did not need anyone to help as I had to do when I had installed the Trinitron CRT. Physically, the TV is supported by the stand secured with four screws, It’s possible support to the wall or ceiling but should be purchased separately.

Contrast (Megacontrast) – I have already told of the comparison with other models on the internet, but at home has proved even more worthy after some tests. To write this review I created an ad hoc computer and then passed on to the TV using the appropriate USB port.

Color – The color and image definition is the aspect that has impressed me most. Bright, well defined and even the smallest details are perfectly clear.

Frequency (120 Hz) – During the last World Cup I have noticed that many TV manufacturers also provided at lower cost with a frequency of 300 Hz or 600 to make the most of the football matches without ghosting in action faster. Despite this, the top models continued with the classic 120 Hz with appropriate filters. Now many of HDTV at higher frequencies are gone, so there was really needed? My experience of football with this TV is very positive. When I follow my favorite team, I assure you that no blur and no even the shadow of ghosting.

Aesthetics and ergonomics – The design of this TV is very simple and elegant at the same time. Completely black with metallic stripe. The control keys placed directly on the front of the TV are touch and allow the complete flatness and glossiness of the surface.

Sound quality – Audio Power: 20W x 2 Speakers and 15W subwoofer. The sound quality is quite good for a TV. It is clear that this can not compare with that of surround systems.

Connections – There are four HDMI outputs of which I have linked 1 (Bluray player), 1 SCART (VHS), USB output compatible with MPEG4 and DivX HD drive, multiple audio inputs, video input type PC monitor, AV input, headphone, a CI slot.

Consumption – Very small, very small, by turning on the power consumption is equal to 64.4 W, while when standby is 0.2 W.

Finally, setup, configuration and even the more advanced features (color, energy saving, etc..) Are very intuitive.
