Sony HDTV 40 inch 40v5100 Review
KDL 40V5100 Review By “Graham”
Sony BRAVIA V-Series KDL-40V5100 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV
I own this TV for a month and I am very happy with your purchase. I’ve waited this long to write a review.
To inform an opinion based on many hours of viewing and after some testing of many settings that the TV offers.
I consider it useful to recommend any new buyer. My final settings on the video sources at the time I use.
Set like me and you will not regret (Obviously I accept criticism and suggestions from other successful owners of this fantastic tv).
FOR SKY-HD, digital terrestrial, analogue (SD) DVD : to improve the depth and fluidity is essential. Motionflow : 200 and the Film Mode : Auto 1. you’ll see that stuff, only with these two settings. according to my and family and friends.
Obviously the TV to its best in HD, fantastics with Blu-ray.
but also in digital and analog (obviously depends on receiving the signal from the roof).
In practice I DTT is more stable, even very stable signal than with the old TV connected with a terrestrial digital content.
The video quality is excellent. Analog behaves very well compatible with the input signal. However much better than my old CRT TV 32-inch Philips at 100 Hz.
I know it seems strange, although we are talking of a 40-inch full HD upscaling but behaves are my eyes to tell you.
The DVDs seem to be processed so the depth that this TV. It seems to me even better than in SKY HD.
SKY HD is obviously much better in sharpness and detail, and brilliant colors. A pure visual spectacle, The audio is of high quality with an excellent surround sound. Obviously standing in audio built into a television.
Good thing for not need to turn on the home theater except for when it is really worth. (5.1 or dts).
Obviously more Filters more corrections in real time the TV has to develop and at times these fixes become visible to the eye.
The match on sky hd video never showed defects of any kind, and I see at least three games a week, beyond tennis.
Even action films do not suffer major problems if not rarely above blur. Please note however that I am a critical and perhaps the I see, there is not another case.
My wife for example, I asked if he had noticed blurring I said that I had been dreaming.
If you want a perfect TV for today and prepared for the future I say take this. See for yourself at home.
Price : $900 – $1,350 (May 2010)
