Panasonic TC-P50GT30 Review
Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT30 50-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV [Black]
Review By “slid@”
I have now bought the Panasonic TC-P50GT30 plasma TV just over 3weeks at Amazon. Delivery and handling was no problem, My plasma was carried directly into my living room. The previous unit was a plasma from Panasonic 42-inch with HD-Ready.
The assembly of the stand to the TV was not a problem. Even the basic settings (tuning, etc.) could be completed in the shortest time and with the best end result and within 20 minutes I could admire my new plasma in action from my couch.
The multi-tuner met all expectations – I would not buy any more television, which has not received all the parts and in high-definition capability. Everything else is really the day before yesterday. The reception quality, tested DVB-T and S are very good, even the HD channels.
The operation of the TC-P50GT30 is very slight of hand. The remote control fits comfortably in your hand and has impeccable touch points and reach a fully satisfactory. The navigation unit is positionable in practice, it is also possible to operate with one hand.
Picture Quality : What can I say – the picture is great. Total image sharpness is High, but still natural. The detail evens, fine patterns and structures are worked out precisely. The contrast is great – great contrast differences can be worked out without disturbing caused. Excellent contrast on a small scale dynamics, fine detail in dark areas come out very well.
The color rendering very comfortable, more brilliant than before, but still slightly warm – just like cinema. Also black excellent – hardly the black goes deeper and white reproduction realistic and not over bright, the white does not seem too bright.
I’ve watched Avatar Bluray on the TC-P50GT30 and I am excited about the focus and the brilliance of the image. I also have my PC connected via HDMI and I must say at the picture looks outstanding and is razor sharp!, without a large area flicker occurs. Natural colors, no ghosting, picture or similar error.
For the sound, The quality of the built-in speaker, I think quite ok, especially in view of the flat design.
In addition, what I’ve found out that The Panasonic TC-P50GT30 can even functional link with the PS3, I used remote control to switch on my PS3 and partial control of BluRay player! The connectivity options are varied, I use the digital audio output for audio support in the Hi-Fi system, component, composite and the USB port for recording function with a hard drive. This work great!
As a whole I am more than satisfied with this device, it meets all my expectations.
Fully Recommended!
