Panasonic TC-P50S30 Review
Panasonic VIERA TC-P50S30 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV
Review By “Aiden B.”
I have the Panasonic Viera TC-P50S30 now 2 weeks and I can add my opinions only positive. I had previously been a Panasonic 42 inch plasma. I have not Seriously considered on LCD / LED , because I already appreciate the advantages of plasma over the years and It was not on outshone candy colors. That’s a personal taste thing and should not trigger this policy debate.
The design of the TV is much thinner than the other versions currently on the market of PANASONIC, making it even more enjoyable to watch from the side (The viewing angle is Top!).
The Panasonic Viera TC-P50S30 makes a terrific black image in my eyes with such a profound, incredible. I’ve only seen on the Pioneer Kuro. The visual quality is excellent, the images are realistic with natural colors and good depth of field.
Even watching analog broadcasts as the digital noise on the screen is still very low and never annoying.
The plasma panel is the G12 version with FULL HD 600Hz technology. This allows a flow of images really good, Motion blur so far I could not find any. Watching sports programs is definitely another level of experience, especially for those who can enjoy high definition.
I sit about 3m away from the device. It is operated via satellite with HD channel. Since I am extremely pleased with the satellite receiver, I can tell nothing about the internals tuner.
The HD picture is very good and Blu-ray is a dream. If you have ever seen on this unit “The Dark Night”, one is drawn into the spell of this device. I recommend the Eco mode issue as all the additional gadgets for image enhancement. But this is a matter of taste.
I connected the Onkyo amplifier 608 and Canton GLE 5.1 speaker, So I can tell the quality of the built-in speaker nothing.
The connections is very comprehensive and includes HDMI, the SD card reader that allows the display of photos and movies in various format, SCART, RCA side, headphone jack, optical digital audio output , ethernet port, a VGA connection for PC, component input and the common interface slot for CAM.
One of the most interesting things about this version is the EASY IPTV. A series of content being displayed on the TV taken from the web. The LAN port is connected to the ADSL router at home and this will allow you to see Youtube, and Picasa, Facebook and etc. Youtube is really beautiful and with the arrival of HD movies is also the yield is pretty good, considering the quality of the video suggested.
The video search is performed using the buttons on the remote a bit like a cell phone. If you have the opportunity to go to some shops and favorite show, it’s worth it.
The configuration for the Internet is quite trivial, unlike the line, if your router has DHCP (almost all) will not have to do is connect the network cable and log on, otherwise you can set to hand the IP address, subnet , gateway, and DNS servers. Fortunately, the configuration menu are quite simple and intuitive and not require skills of an engineer to set it up.
The LAN connection also allows you to access your PC if it is online, and then can view photos and video content in your hard disk.
Shipping with shipping went well. Delivery was 4 days after ordering at Amazon.
In any case you do not need too many words, go see it, it will suffice to convince that this will be a good buy. For movie lovers, this is certainly the perfect TV.
