Toshiba 40 1080p hdtv Review
Toshiba 40RV525R Review by : “Bzzz”
I bought this TV in November 2009. from amazon.
It struck me very good quality pictures, watch a DVD with this TV is truly a pleasure, I have a regular DVD player (with SCART), and It’s fine, just imagine if you have a SCART cable a little more expensive (a single screening) in order to eliminate even the slight disorder of the images.
Obviously the best solution is to buy a DVD player with HDMI, and I believe that with a TV like it very worthwhile.
Also let me make a suggestion: to improve the image quality is better to use the RGB cables (RED, WHITE AND YELLOW), because unlike the SCART lead is more difficult than you can move into the connectors on the TV (as with SCART cable), and therefore reduces the risk of interference to the images.
Perhaps the only minor flaw of this TV is the remote, which has rubber buttons a little low quality (sometimes happens to press keys to empty), but this is obviously a problem of small value.
Summing up, I can assure you that 40RV525R Toshiba is one of the best 40 “LCD on the market, with many innovative features, ease of use and excellent value for money.
Finally I would still give you some other advice: just bought in the menu, go to remove the option that automatically changes the screen format, at the beginning I thought it was a bug, because when watching a DVD format changing by itself automatically, but reading the manual, I discovered that is simply an option.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
I bought about 7-8 months ago, and it was my first LCD TV.
The price (when I bought myself from amazon.com) is about 799 dollars.
When I went to see the television, I oriented KDLU200 buy a Sony Bravia or a Sharp. But considering the different offers and prices (virtually identical), I asked about. I was advised just because Toshiba is a leading manufacturer, and security as quality. Having never purchased a Toshiba, so I decided to try and I was really amazed.
The TV has excellent picture quality, with an impressive naturalness.
Also compared to its competitors, it differs by the presence of 2 HDMI, compared to the single of its competitors
(I’m talking about 7 months ago).
I must say that at first I never tried using the tv high definition, but recently, with the purchase of the Play Station 3, I tried to play and watch movies with this TV and I must say that the results are not bad.
When you see a Blueray DVD with this TV we remain open-mouthed.
Even the sound quality is not bad, of course if you want the best you have to take a home theater system, because, as most TVs do not have the subwoofer in the back (but you can buy at Toshiba).
Toshiba has gone on the classic, the TV has forms, elegant and well-defined, short fits all environments.
In conclusion, my opinion is this is a great HDTV, a really good deal.
